Full Stop

Finally, I got my papers back for the tests. Indeed, there are always higher mountains everywhere. I was really tired to try to climb to the top but it didn't turn out to be what I wanted. Never mind that. There's always a next time waiting for me. I just have to admit it. I'm kiasu... I'm kiasu... and I'm really kiasu. Damn afraid of losing but I think I have to learn to get used to losing now.

I just noticed that this post is actually my 50th post here and I have been blogging for more than half a year (obviously, I'm not an active blogger). And I think that it is time to put a full stop to it. I just have to spend more time on my studies. I need time to buck up. Sigh... That's why I think I don't have time for blogging anymore. Sad to say that. So, this blog is going to end right here, right now.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone that has read my blog and cared for me. Thank you very much.

...THE END...

Sometimes

Sometimes the flower blooms, sometimes it wilts;
Sometimes it shines, sometimes it rains;
Sometimes we feel happy, sometimes we feel sad;
Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry;
Sometimes we face the ups in life, sometimes we face the downs;
Sometimes we appreciate what we have,
sometimes we complain about what we don't have;
Sometimes it is easy to get what we want, sometimes it can be hard;
Sometimes we achieve our goals, sometimes we don't;
Sometimes I succeed, but this time I failed...

Human Nature

I really can't bear this anymore. Can't stand it any longer!! Arghh... It's getting on my nerves lately. I really don't know why human can be like this. How can this possibly happen to my uni?! I've been doing a lot of group works for the past few weeks and of course, I have learned a lot. Basically, I have come up with a conclusion that is human can be grouped into 3 categories: lazy, lazier and the laziest. Therefore, HUMAN IS LAZY!!

Hey human, do you actually know what group work means? It means WE ARE SUPPOSED TO WORK TOGETHER IN GROUPS! But it looked like I did almost all the jobs. You know what? I was so pissed off whenever my group members kept postponing their work. Is this really so-called team work? I can't see where the team work is! So how am I supposed to trust my group members?! I've found out that I can't really trust anyone here. Sigh... I'm really wondering how am I going to survive next time I have group work again. If this continues, my brain is going to explode for sure. So, HUMAN (including me, of course), PLEASE... PLEASE DON'T BE SO LAZY!!

Few days ago, I came across this shooting game - Left 4 Dead.
It is so addictive. You know what? Yesterday, I played this game with my friend until 1 o' clock midnight even thought the next day we had Maths test. I never knew that I could possibly fall in love with this game. But I'm not sure if I will still love this game some days later. Hey wait. How come everything here is so addictive? The first was pool. Now is Left 4 Dead. So what's next?

Haha XD

There's Always Be Higher Mountain

I kept wondering how were the other university like. Wondering if they were like my university too. I thought that university life would be full of fun. I thought that I would not have to study that much. I thought that I could play all the time. I thought that universities would be much easier than secondary school. But I was quite wrong. How I wish I had more time for entertainment. How I wish I had 48 hours per day. Time is just not enough for me. I know this is just the beginning but assignments, tutorial works, presentations, tests etc keep flooding into my life. Arghhh... I don't have much time to watch TV. Arghhh... I don't have time to blog that much. Arghhh... I don't have time to play pool. Oh my God! I haven't been playing pool for a week.

Last week, I had my tests for English and Malaysian Studies. Hard to believe that time just slipped away so fast that tests came so early. By the way, the tests were okay but Malaysian Studies was... ... Sigh. Can I not sit for Malaysian Studies test? It was not that hard, but not that easy either. But what's the purpose of studying it? Just because we are Malaysian? Duh... ... We have been studying history since Form 1 for around 5 years and we are forced to study it AGAIN?! This is just too much. I'm so afraid of the forthcoming Malaysian Studies test. Subjective questions! Oh my God, have to study like hell again.

Oh yeah, I just got my Maths quiz paper. Guess how much I got? Of course... ...
10 per 10. Haha... Don't you think I'm pro? I am, indeed. XP

Duh... I was becoming boastful lately. Actually this is not really pro. Quite some number of students get this mark. So you can imagine how high the standard is in Nottingham University. All the people here are so competitive. I'm starting to feel afraid how I will score in my next test.

I Like University Life

Time is precious. Time is money. Time is invaluable. I wish I had more time. I need more time to do my tutorial work. More time to do my revision. And more time to polish up my snooker skills. Haha... How I wish I had time to do all these things. By the way, my friend just lent me his USB cable. And that means I can upload my pictures now. Hooray!!

Of course, the first picture starts with my lovely university.
How it looks like? Nice right? Hehe^^

The night view

I don't know why they have this kind of structure.

We can have some splashing time there. LOL.

Here you will see a lot of stray dogs. Sometimes it is quite funny to look at some girls, so afraid of dogs, keep looking back if any dogs are following them. Haha... I know I'm being bad here.

Just a few days ago, I noticed a car. I rarely see this car on road so of course, the first thing I did was take a nice picture of it.
A classic car!!

I kept wondering whose car was this. Was it Najib's car? I don't know. By the way, just for your info, Najib, our 6th prime minister, is one of the alumni of Nottingham University. That means we are somehow related in some ways. Now I can go out and shout aloud, "The prime minister is my senior!" Haha XP

Last few days, I had my first time entering the lab in Nottingham University. Finally, a chance to try something practical.
Me, in my lab coat.

Do I look professional in it? Haha... Call me Dr. Tan Wei Ming then. Hehe... (the Dr. title suits my name so much).

By the way, I just heard that a lot people think that Nottingham University is a good uni. Actually, what really makes a good uni? Not the facilities. Not the lecturers. Not the environment. I would say the students. Why Nottingham University is good? The reason is simple. IT HAS GOOD STUDENTS JUST LIKE ME!! Haha XP

Story ends...

P/S: Snooker is addictive. Never try it or else you will end up like me, playing days and nights.

Something New

It's been two weeks since I have studied over there. It's not that dull after all even I didn't have the chance to go out during the week. 'Cause there's so many new things waiting for me to experience it.

Last few days, I had my first time playing snooker. Thinking of it made me laugh. I was playing with my friend (a newbie too) and there were some Africans playing at the next table. They were pro of course. Sometimes, I caught them peeping at us. I wondered if they laughed at us. Anyway, for a newbie like me, sometimes I got No.1 in the game (versus another newbie of course). I should have taken some photos but no point, my USB cable isn't working. Arghh...

Other than snooker, I went to the gym too. My very first time again. Before I proceed, I have a question in my mind. Does a muscular guy working out in a gym look attractive? Of course, that's not my main reason for being there. I just wanted to build up my muscles. Within an hour, I saw my body changed from 1 pack abs to... ... ... ... ... ... 6 pack abs. Unbelievable right? Indeed, it was hard to believe. That's why Ripley's Believe It Or Not is going to interview me soon.

Haha XD.

Duh... enough of it. I was just too much.

I just came across this Thai commercial video. It claims to be the saddest commercial ever. What do you think?

Why were we born?

P/S: I'm working my way to become a snooker pro. Haha XP. Anyway, now, my arms are aching so much. Must have overworked. Arghhh... I can't type any longer.
